IU REDCap Day: Call for Proposals

Call for Proposals

We are excited to announce a call for proposals for our upcoming REDCap event focused on the theme of Surveys!

Whether you're conducting research, gathering feedback, or exploring new survey methodologies, we invite you to share your expertise and experiences with the community.

Submit your proposal by March 10, 2025 

Topics of Interest

We encourage proposals that cover a variety of aspects related to surveys in REDCap, including but not limited to:

• Creating and customizing surveys
• Survey distribution methods and best practices
• Advanced features and customization of survey instruments
• Best practices for survey data collection and management
• User engagement and improving response rates
• Ethical considerations in survey-based research

A short survey and simple one-page abstract are all that is required by the March 10 due date:

• PDF format (file extension .pdf)
• 12-point Times New Roman font
• No longer than one page
• Must contain the title and last name of presenter at top
• Use 16-point Times New Roman font for the title and presenter name at the top like this: Presenter |Title

You will be able to request a length of time for your session on the survey (either 25 or 55 minutes) when you submit your proposal.

Important Dates

Presentations, demonstrations, and panels will be chosen based on topics of interest as identified by registered attendees as well as space in the program. Accepted proposals will be notified by March 17.

Final slides will be due by April 25 for final review, posting for conference attendees, formatting for the projector in the presentation rooms, etc.

All presentations will be posted in PDF format on May 6 and recorded for posting after IU REDCap Day via YouTube.
