This hands-on HTML and CSS workshop introduces participants to the foundational concepts and practical skills needed to create and style web pages from scratch. The session begins with an overview of the history and purpose of HTML and CSS, then guides attendees through writing basic syntax, structuring HTML documents, and applying styles using CSS. Participants will learn to use text editors, understand essential elements and attributes, and build accessible, well-structured pages with headings, lists, links, images, and semantic tags. The workshop covers multiple methods for applying CSS, including inline, embedded, and external stylesheets, and explores key topics such as the box model, positioning, navigation, and style inheritance.
