This workshop complements the Intro to Deep Learning taught by UITS Research Technologies (RT). IU faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend!
This course will provide a high-level overview of how Large Language Models work and discussion on what types of computing platforms provide support for developing these models, tuning them to specific use cases, and providing them to end users. Hands-on demonstrations on how to fine-tune and provide document retrieval functionality for an open-source Large Language Model on Big Red 200 will also be provided.
No prior knowledge of these techniques is assumed. Knowledge of Unix and Python is needed for the hands-on exercises.
