Microsoft Teams Calls Desktop: Forwarding Calls to a Call Group

To set up call forwarding, at the top right of the Teams window, click the Settings and More, or three-dots button, to the left of your user icon. In the menu that appears, click Settings. The Settings window appears. From here, in the navigation on the left side of the window, click Calls. To forward your calls, underneath the Call answering rules heading, click the radio button for Forward my calls. To forward calls to a call group, click the Forward to drop-down menu, then click Call group. The Call group options will display. To add someone to the call group, in the Search field, type in their username. As you type, a list of names and usernames will display in a drop-down beneath the field. These names are pulled from the IU Global Address list. When you see the person you want to add, click on them to add them to the group. Repeat this process to add more people to the call group. To choose what order the group members will be called in, click the Ring order drop-down menu and choose from All at the same time or In the order above. When you’re done, click the Save button. Your calls will be forwarded to the call group you created, and the user icons for the people in the call group will appear underneath the Forward to drop-down menu. [video outro music]
