Cybersecurity Escape Room

An escape room, sometimes called a breakout room, is an adventure game that employs puzzles and riddles to help participants complete a specific objective. In a traditional escape room, participants are "locked" inside a room containing clues, hints, and puzzles. The goal is to find all the information and things the group needs to "escape the room." 

In the Catch the Big Bad Wolf cybersecurity escape room experience there is no locked room. Instead, participants work on solving a series of puzzles and riddles to identify the key pieces of information required to solve the game.

Commercially, escape rooms are a form of entertainment and team-building fun. Since these games incorporate puzzles, team members have to work together to find clues and solutions to escape. This makes an escape room an effective communication- and team-building tool. 

The Catch the Big Bad Wolf cybersecurity escape room experience is a great way to break your normal routine and provide your group with a team-building experience with the side-effect of learning about critical cybersecurity concepts.

The puzzles and riddles in this escape room experience work best with small groups of 3 to 5 people. If your group is larger, we can facilitate multiple "rooms" at the same time.

The only things that are required to participate are your team and your brain! Everything you need to solve the puzzle will be provided by the facilitators.

This experience is a completely offline way to learn about technical concepts. Use of technology (computers, cell phones, etc.) is prohibited throughout the duration of the game.

From start to finish, the experience takes about 1 hour. Teams will have 45 minutes to solve the puzzles and finish the game. The experience begins with an introduction and ends with an evaluation and debriefing.
