This workshop lasts 2 days.

Ready, Set, Robots! introduces teens to technology-related fields and concepts including computer programming, high performance computing, and networking as they work side by side with IU technology professionals and researchers. Using kits from the LEGO® Mindstorms® series, participants work in small teams to learn the basic computer programming skills needed to command a robot to complete a set of predetermined tasks. Camps culminate in an exciting Robot Grand Challenge in which each team’s robot struts its stuff.

Click here to learn more about the camp, see video footage and images from past Ready, Set, Robots! programs.

The Ready, Set, Robots! program is hosted by UITS Research Technologies (RT), Indiana University Pervasive Technology Institute and is free for all participants.

When you log in the first time, you will be asked to create an IT Training profile for the person you will be registering. Once you have saved the profile, you can register that person for the workshop.
