Photoshop Elements 7: The Basics

This workshop introduces techniques for editing and managing digital photos using Photoshop Elements. During this workshop, participants will edit flawed photos taken with a digital camera. These images will be straightened, cropped, and resized, and corrected for contrast, color, blemishes, and dark areas. Finally, participants will save the finished images for print, email, and Web.

Can’t make it to the workshop?

Participants will:

  • Organize a group of photos
  • Straighten an angled photo
  • Crop a photo
  • Correct red eye
  • Adjust photos with poor exposure and lighting
  • Check for resolution and dimensions
  • Save images for print, email, or web

Participants should already be able to:

  • use the mouse
  • work with windows and menus
  • save, copy, and organize documents in a Windows or Macintosh environment
