Video Basics: An Overview of Tools & Resources

Today, anyone with a camcorder and a computer can create a video and share it with millions of viewers via the Internet. This workshop is designed for novices who are anxious to learn the fundamentals of video production. The focus will be on using a consumer level digital video camera to create professional looking movies. All three stages of video production will be discussed, and participants will learn how to select and use basic video equipment. While primarily lecture based, attendees will use Windows Movie Maker as they learn basic editing techniques.
