This workshop is intended for participants with experience using Dreamweaver and familiarity with markup code (HTML or XHTML). It covers creating additional navigation and explores ways to integrate multimedia including audio files, video files, and Flash movies, into web pages. It also explores how to use Dreamweaver templates to make controlling and updating page content a snap, especially when working with others.

Participants will:

• apply Dreamweaver behaviors to create interactivity
• implement templates to reduce web site maintenance time
• integrate a Flash element into a web page
• integrate a Flash Video into a web page
• integrate an MP3 audio file into a web page
• integrate video into a web page, including Flash and YouTube

The following workshops are suggested prerequisites to this workshop:

• Dreamweaver CS4: Creating Web Sites With CSS

Participants should already be able to:

• understand using CSS to handle layout
• understand and insert links
• create and employ CSS in external style sheets
• understand XHTML code
