Outlook: Taking Charge of Your Account

In this workshop, participants will learn how to manage Outlook files and folders to reduce mailbox size, store and use Outlook items on a personal computer, and create rules to automatically organize messages and/or respond to them. In addition, participants will learn to share folders with colleagues, perform effective mailbox searches, export messages to other formats, and view Public Folders.

Can’t make it to the workshop?

Participants will:

  • use Search folders and Advanced Find features
  • organize the Inbox using Rules
  • use the Junk Email Filter
  • use personal folders and utilize backup, delete, and recovery strategies
  • export an item to a file
  • explore folder properties, including views, filtering, grouping, and sorting
  • create shortcuts
  • use public folders
