IT Training & Education
PowerPoint is an ideal application for creating multimedia presentations. In this series, you will learn everything you need to know to create a well-structured, visually exciting slide show. You will learn how to incorporate text, multimedia objects, and links to non-PowerPoint documents in ways that will make your presentation dynamic and interactive. You will explore the rich, new features that are included with PowerPoint 2007, and learn how to use these effectively. In addition, you will learn how to rehearse and deliver a presentation, create audience and presenter handouts, and customize a slide show for different audiences. The series concludes with a project lab where participants will have the opportunity to synthesize what they have learned as they create a presentation in an open-ended setting.
PowerPoint is useful for creating complex multimedia presentations. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamental skills needed to create and organize a moderately complex presentation in PowerPoint, and how to prepare to present a finished presentation.
Intended for participants who know how to create a basic PowerPoint presentation but want to spice up their slide show with tables, charts, animation, SmartArt graphics, sound clips, action buttons, themes, customized backgrounds, and more.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to customize slide shows by using master slides, triggers, hyperlinks, and action buttons. Intended for users who frequently use PowerPoint and who want to learn how to quickly change the appearance and structure of a presentation to meet the needs of different audiences.
Intended for those already comfortable using PowerPoint, this workshop will go one step further. Participants will explore how slide masters can help them to work more efficiently, especially when they are customizing a single presentation for several different audiences. They will also learn how to add background music and other special effects that will help to make a slide show more engaging.
