When we open a PowerPoint file, we typically see the slides that we have created. However, there is more to a slide show than meets the eye. The slides that we see in normal view are actually controlled by a separate group of "super" slides called masters. Masters control every aspect of slide design, including layout, theme, color scheme, and transitions. If we make any design changes to an ordinary slide, the change remains unique to that slide. However, if we switch to master view and make a design change to a master, that change will be applied to all the slides that are subject to the master. This workshop will teach participants how they can use slide masters to make universal design and/or format changes to a presentation quickly and efficiently. It will also show how slide masters enable users to add elements, such as personalized footers or logos, to every slide in a presentation. Participants will also learn several other advanced PowerPoint skills, such as adding background music and triggers, and configuring a presentation to loop automatically. (read the full description)
