About Our Training Facilities

IT Training & Education maintains two training rooms on both the Bloomington and Indianapolis Campuses.

The number of computers available for class participants are as follows:

  • Wells Library, Information Commons (IUB): 27
  • Wells Library, Room W302 (IUB): 24
  • Informatics and Communications Complex, IT127 (IUPUI): 24
  • Informatics and Communications Complex, IT121 (IUPUI): 21

In addition, each room has a matching instructor station with a ceiling–mounted LCD projector.

Computer Configurations

Each computer has the following specifications:

  • Pentium IV or Core 2 Duo
  • 1GB or more RAM
  • Internet access
  • CD-ROM or DVD/CD-RW combo drive
  • 17–inch flat panel color monitor

Software:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional
  • Current Student Technology Center Windows applications (IUB / IUPUI)
